Happy Valentine's Day
Every year, I celebrate Valentine's Day by doing something for myself and for a couple of friends. It doesn't have to be commercial- I usually just text or call a friend. That evening, I spend a little extra time taking care of myself and take a warm bath with my favorite oils and bath salts. Life is always busy and it feels good to slow down a little.
I spent the morning packing and shipping orders placed by people sending a gift to a friend. I always love packaging gifts and spend a little extra time on them. Having finished with that, I'm spending the rest of the day doing more tedious (but just as important) tasks such as paperwork and organization. I'm looking forward to taking a break tomorrow evening and already imagining a cup of hot chocolate by the fireplace. Regardless of where you are or how you are spending the holiday, I wish you a day filled with love and contentment.
