Visiting Nantucket has made me realize (again) that I want a backyard filled with hydrangeas, hostas and lavender . I stayed at the White Elephant, a lovely hotel on the outskirts of the town of Nantucket, overlooking a harbor filled with boats and yachts. Walking around town was a pleasant early morning activity before the summer temperatures drove me out to the beach. Window boxes filled with blossoms and pretty grasses graced many of the homes.
