Dressing up to go shopping is part of the fun! Shopping is an experience that you play a big part in creating. If you are dressed nicely, you'll feel more confident of yourself. When you enter a store feeling self confident, you'll be able to chat with the staff, who should be willing to talk about the brand and products with you in a way that is educational and helps inform your purchases. It's also important to be level headed about shopping and spend money on a few items that you'll love for years to come instead of feeling rushed to make purchases (continue reading...)
If you're thinking you can't get any great gifts under $100 for the girl friend or boss that seems to have it all, think again. I complied a gift guide of my personal favorite designer items along with tried and true products that are sensible and fun. Each of the products has been researched and compared to other brands over the years as I tried to find things that I really wanted to spend my hard earned money on.
I carefully curated the list to make it easy for you to shop for close friends and people that you barely know. Regardless of job, income status or taste, most women above the age of eighteen would get excited about the following gifts, which are in order from lowest price to highest price:
A crisp white button down shirt is an essential garment in any woman’s wardrobe, especially during the summer. The classic white shirt is a modest piece that can easily be rolled up and unbuttoned to fit the personality of the individual wearing the piece. I personally have several variations of white button down shirts in my closet: a crisp cotton, a soft silk shirt for dressy events, and a more casual piece that I wear as a coverup while lounging by the pool or on weekends. While a white button down is far from a groundbreaking style, it’s a solid
The Kate Stoltz Wynwood Dress is an asymmetrical piece with waist cutouts. Made with Italian superfine 120's merino wool and delicate French snakeskin lace, the black dress is light enough to wear in the spring, summer evenings and early fall. The dress design was inspired by the chaotic beauty of the Wynwood Walls murals in Wynwood, Florida.
I spent my Easter weekend in Boca Raton, Florida, where I lived for a year before moving to New York City. During my stay, I visited The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens - located in Delray Beach close to Boca Raton. The walk around the pond is a relaxing stroll a little less than a mile. Along the path are benches, koi ponds and tropical flowering plants. The serene, expansive Japanese gardens are the perfect place to catch up with a friend or simply enjoy nature. If you're wondering where to go in Boca Raton or Delray Beach
Valentine's Day is coming up fast. While most people think of it as a romantic holiday, I think it is a great day to celebrate friends as well. Have a single friend that always dreads the holiday because it makes her feel alone? Or want to show the friend that has been there for you through thick and thin how much you appreciate her? Remind her by sending her some flowers, chocolates, or something longer lasting, like a silk scarf that will remind her of you whenever she wear it!

Kate Stoltz clients, select press and close friends were invited to preview the new Spring/ Summer 2018 collection before a week long Fashion Week Popup in Soho, New York. The fashion designer debuted twenty five new Kate Stoltz pieces during the February showing, which opened to the public the following day.
The Fashion Week popup was done instead of a traditional runway show, giving visitors the opportunity to see and touch the pieces in person. Guests were welcome to pre-order custom fit pieces from the designer, with an assistant on site to take their individual measurements. Attendees sipped champagne and nibbled on chocolates as they shopped, and were given a Kate Stoltz scarf before they ambled on to other fashion week events.
Kate Stoltz NYC Black Lace Appliqué Chiffon Blouse
Kate Stoltz Black Lace Appliqué Blouse with the embroidered wool skirt
The Kate Stoltz NYC black lace appliqué chiffon blouse photographed in Santorini, Greece. The black chiffon blouse has hand sewn black rose flower and petal appliqués on the front and back of the blouse, and at the cuff of the 3/4 sleeve. The neck and sleeves are also finished by hand, with the inside seams finished with a small French seam.
The lace applique blouse was paired with the Kate Stoltz NYC Embroidered Wool Pencil Skirt. The skirt's belt is embroidered by hand with thick black embroidery thread. The skirt gently sloped up at the hem in the front, and down in the back of the hem.
Both the hand embroidered wool skirt and black lace applique blouse can be ordered on www.katestoltz.com. Because of the delicate fabrics used for the blouse, it is recommended that you include your measurements, or your correct size. When in doubt, purchase a size larger (not smaller) so that you are comfortable wearing the piece.
I am beyond grateful for my small but fantastic team for traveling all the way to Santorini, Greece for the photoshoot. Matt Licari, a photographer from New York City, did a great job as always scouting the locations. Sissi Petropoulou, the makeup artist, is a rare gem that traveled from Athens, Greece and gave me an unforgettable facial massage that relaxed my facial muscles and prepared my skin for the photoshoot, then proceeded to make me look younger and healthier by applying minimal makeup...
I had the pleasure of attending a friend's wedding in New Jersey at an old mansion that looked like a castle. The gardens on the estate were the highlight of the place, featuring a beautiful lily pond with colorful koi swimming about. The wedding was beautiful, both because of the beautiful setting and the occasion that brought everyone there.
To meet the fairy tale theme of the wedding, I wore my favorite Kate Stoltz NYC gown. The gown has hundreds of bias strips hand sewn onto the bodice in an abstract design. The bias strips were applied in a painterly fashion, starting at the front of the bodice and branching out, eventually covering the entire bodice.
The gown is available for purchase at www.katestoltz.com . Contact Kate Stoltz with questions about the process.
